T5 Wombat Data GPS Logger (Low Power)
The T5 Wombat is a low power GPS Logger suitable for long term monitoring of targets for tracking and generating movement reports. The device includes a Low Power Bluetooth link for command and control.
The device contains the following features,

- Bluetooth SMART / Low Power Bluetooth radio for communications (also referred to as BLE)
- Storage for 170,000+ logged points
- Zero self-originating transmission during deployment

- Smartphone / tablet App for control and download
The T5 Wombat has a number of triggers that it can be configured to act from, these include:
- 4 Timers
- 4 Region Alarms
- Closed Contact Input
Each trigger can be individually configured to perform an action and has a priority in the system. The list above is in an order from lowest (timer) to highest (closed contact input) priority, meaning a Voltage trigger will overrule a Timer trigger, likewise a Motion trigger will overrule a Voltage trigger. Each trigger will activate an action for as long as the trigger is present. Once the trigger stops the action is terminated as well.
The device accepts 3v to 28v input voltage and will automatically place itself in the lowest power consumption mode (commonly referred to as sleep) in between performing actions and monitoring for triggers.
The device auto updates its internal real time clock at each valid GPS point so that it stays current.
The Cased T5 Wombat device uses the internal battery as a battery backup source while the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position, the system will maintain its time and GPS data for up to 10 seconds after the switch is moved to the OFF position.
Flash memory s used to store settings and logged point data within the device. So even after a loss of power to the unit, your data is still safe and can be retrieved once power is re-applied to the unit.
Factory Default Settings
From the factory and every time a Factory Reset is applied, the T5 Wombat will be set to log a GPS point every 15 seconds while motion is active. All other triggers and actions are zeroed out, ready to be configured by the user.
